Some Assembly Required

Saturday October 16th at 10 in the morning was when we started to assemble the castle that serves as the background and focal point for the whole display.  It was a warm morning which was better then 2009 which had snow to deal with.   Setting this up one before quickened the process from 8 hours to about 5 hours.

A big thank you to everyone who worked hard in the setup of this castle.  Jim, Ruth, James, Jacqui, Sunny, Todd & Keith.  This large project would have been a lot harder to accomplish if we didn't have so many people working together.  Thank you!

Welcome to Saskatoon Halloween House

A big stone castle.  Cold, dark and really creepy, The scariest thing I ever saw.  These are just a few words to describe the Saskatoon Halloween House.  2009 brought a new display and the theme of 'the old stone castle'.  With children stopping to see and hundreds of vehicles coming by to take a look, the Saskatoon Halloween House is considered by many to be the biggest house display around.

We're setting up the castle this year and expanding the props to go with the theme of 'The dungeon's under renovation'.  Setup of the castle will take place on October 16th with the full display ready for Halloween weekend!

Donations

Once again this year the Saskatoon Halloween House will be accepting donations for the Red Cross.  A collection station will be set up so stop at the display, get spooked, and give what you can.
